Tonight’s the Night: Settlement Engine’s Fashion Week Downtown Runway Show
Tonight’s the night! Our second annual fashion show, The Runway, is finally here. Join us in Market Square at 7:00 p.m. for a cocktail hour and at 8:00 p.m. for the show. The event will showcase 15 local designers and provide them with the opportunity to present their work on a runway.
The Runway is a part of Settlement Engine’s Fashion Week Downtown organized by the Pittsburgh Downtown Community Development Corporation. The PDCDC has made it one of its long-term goals to create and promote a thriving retail district in the downtown area and Fashion Week is one big step towards that goal. Pittsburgh has a flourishing fashion community that is often overlooked, so The Runway’s objective is to highlight these talented local designers.
At the cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres will be served by Market Street Grocery and alcohol will be provided by both Market Street Grocery and Wigle Whiskey. The show will begin promptly at 8 and will be emceed by the president of Inspiring Lives Magazine, Shellie Hipsky. Come join us tonight in Market Square for a dazzling night of fashion, food, and fun!
